The Hestasport Cottages With magnificent views overlooking the vast plains and distant mountains of the Skagafjörður valley, these cozy chalet-style retreats make for the perfect getaway at any time of the year. Experience the serenity of Northern Iceland, fill your days with the endless possibilities for adventure that Skagafjörður has to offer. Our cottages are nestled together up on the hill a short walking distance from the centre of Varmahlíð and less than 1km from our horse riding and rafting base. In town you will find all the services you need: a tourist information, grocery shop, restaurant, petrol station, bank, post office, hotel, swimming pool, and more. We have different styles of cottages, each equipped with full self-catering kitchen and dining facilities, a bathroom and shower, beds and linnen, and a simply furnished living area. They range in size from studio-style bungalows (2-4 people), to spacious multi-room retreats with cooking and dining facilities. Should you wish to accomodate more than our suggested number of occupants, we are happy to make arrangements.
A natural hot tube is the center of this small village and invites after an adventurous day for a relaxing bathe.
