Located in heart of Northern Iceland's Skagafjörður, the birthplace of the Icelandic horse, riding scene and the country's riding mecca, Hestasport is Iceland's oldest licensed riding tour operator with over 35 years of experience. We are located in Varmahlíð, just off the ringroad (hwy#1). We offer a wide variety of tours to suit anyone from fanatical horse enthusiasts to first-time riders. Our "short tours" are single-day trips ranging from one hour to a full day excursion, whereas our "long tours" are multi-day riding trips up to 9 days in length. All of our tours boast a personal and friendly atmosphere, excellent horses, experienced and friendly guides, and top quality well-maintained riding equipment. Even if you weren't planning a riding tour during your visit to Iceland, no trip through Skagafjörður would be complete without a tölt through the charming countryside of Northern Iceland!
